Lower Merion School District

Main Line Court, Main Line Village, Montgomery Plaza, and Tremaine Place are all located in the school district.

Comprised of six elementary schools (recently awarded the “Blue Ribbon” designation for excellence), two middle schools, and two high schools, LMSD is consistently rated as the top school district in Pennsylvania.  Both high schools are brand-new, with state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on sustainability.

Manayunk

Close to:  Main Line Court (walking distance)

Philadelphia’s cultural and shopping center, Manayunk has the densest concentration of shops and restaurants in the city.  Our Main Line Court property is located in the neighborhood known as Old Manayunk, but it is directly outside of the city limits, so residents get the benefits of a Philadelphia address without having to pay the city’s wage taxes.  Manayunk and the Court are both easily accessible by the R6 Regional Rail line, though biking along the water is the most popular form of transportation.

Rittenhouse Square

Close to:  Walking distance from 114 S. 19th Street

One of the five original parks designed by William Penn in his blueprints for Philadelphia, Rittenhouse Square has since become the most desirable.  Dog-walkers and professional athletes rub elbows amongst the square’s trees, shops, and top-rated restaurants.

Suburban Square

Close to:  Montgomery Plaza (walking distance), Main Line Village (walking distance)

One of the nation’s oldest preeminent centers, Suburban Square is great for everything from outdoor shopping to grabbing a drink with your friends or sitting down to a nice family-style meal.  Highlights include department stores, health food groceries, the Ardmore Farmers Market, and much more.
