IMG_5752

As tenants, helping to prevent clogs, leaks or other common maintenance issues around your apartment is a simple way to save money on your utilities each month, while restricting the level of in-person interaction you'll have with our staff.

Not only will you be saving money, but you also get the peace of mind that comes with keeping your apartment functional during the colder months.

11/12 - Keeping Our Community Clean

  • Open your blinds and windows for fresh air during the daytime hours
  • Incorporate natural light into your bedrooms and living areas for brighter mornings
  • Make your bedroom sleep friendly at night by blocking out outside light. This way, you can stay well rested

8/13 - Stay Cool in the Dog Days

IMG_20200408_103819_MP

You get hot and irritated in this extreme heat, and so does your pet! Below are a few tips to keep your pet cool and comfortable during your summer adventures:

  • Provide plenty of cool water and access to shaded areas, especially when outdoors
  • Never keep pets in locked cars, or in direct sunlight on a hot day
  • Limit exercise on hot days
  • Don't rely on fans. If a room is too hot for you, it's also too hot for your pet.
  • Use wet, cool towels to drape over your pet. This helps in lowering their body temperature

8/6 - Squeaky Clean

Pet Spa

Keep your pet cool and clean during this heat wave by taking advantage of our indoor pet spa at Montgomery Plaza.

The benefits of bathing your pet can include cleaning their skin and coat, which helps to remove loose hair, scale and debris and improve the hair coat's shine.

7/30 - Cidaca Killers: Friend or Foe?

Processed with VSCO with s3 preset

Fearful of cicada killers? Although they may look like wasps and give you a scare, these insects are completely harmless and even beneficial for the environment.

The best course of action is to leave them alone and let them feed on cicadas and maintain healthy trees, which cicadas can damage over time.

4/8 - Ventilate to Stop the Spread

Living room 1

In addition to wearing masks, social distancing and practicing good hand hygiene, the CDC now recommends improving your ventilation at home to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

When indoors, increased ventilation can help reduce the concentration of viral particles that can be inhaled into the lungs, or accumulate on surfaces. Common ways to keep your apartment ventilated include opening doors, cracking a window, and/or using window fans to exhaust room air outdoors.

All of the above solutions are cost-effective and can lower the risk of exposure.

4/3 - Fresh Air Goes A Long Way

new outside

Spring is finally here, and you may be able to boost your disposition just by opening some windows.
